Sargent Thomas Strickland age 85, passed away October 30, 2022 in Land O’ Lakes. Thomas was born in Layfette, Georgia to John and Thelma Strickland on May 2, 1937. He served in the US Army and was a Veteran of Vietnam. He loved watching westerns, wrestling, and spending as much time with his grandchildren as he could, and also enjoyed fishing every chance he got. Thomas and his wife Garland attended First Baptist Church of Port Richey. He was predeceased by his wife Garland, and survived by Step children Debra King, of Florida, Warren A. Kessler, of PA, 10 Grandkids as well as many great grandchildren.

    Grandpa- words cannot express how I feel about you . You and Grandma took me in when no one else wanted me. For that I am eternally grateful. You were a kind and loving man who taught me a lot.
