    Edwin Charnie Hancock says:
Sonny and I grew up in Fort Meade Fl. and attended First Baptist Church together before graduating from High School in 1963. Sonny and family were living in West Pasco County when I arrived in Banking 1976. Our children grew up together. Sonny was a good father and active Golfer and we player almost every weekend with the same foursome for several years. Sonny. Sharon, Gaylyn and I planned a number of Golfing vacations together primarily from Florida to North Carolina and enjoyed playing golf on many Golf Courses. We had many fun moments and laughs with long term memories. In 1990 I invited Sonny to play with me in the member guest at Cyprus Run Golf Club and we won the Handicap Division. That was a great weekend. Sonny and his family will always be in our hearts and prayers.

    Mike and Lauri Griffin says:
Sonny and I were classmates throughout our high school days in Ft. Meade. He was loved and respected by his classmates who elected him President of our Senior class. He and I enjoyed our time as classmates and playing sports together. We also attended Boys State together. Due to my job I moved away from Florida and missed many years of our reunions. After returning to FL after many years away Sonny and I enjoyed reconnecting. Lots of memories exchanged there. Sharon, mine and Lauri’s thoughts and prayers are with you and your good family. Sonny will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Sonny, may you now Rest In Peace with no more tears, pain or worries! We love you brother, Mike ❤️
