William was born on November 6, 1936 in New York City, NY, the son of Arthur and Margaret Lynsky Davis. He attended school there and later entered the United States Navy. Following his discharge he married Mary Weathers and the couple made their home in New York where William became a Police Officer.
William is survived by his wife Mary, two sons, Sean and Billy Davis, Two daughters, Noreen Bunner and Margaret Jacobs, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary LiVigni. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, at the Funeral Home Chapel. Military graveside rites will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
